We are currently looking for a PRN PT to cover all Axis Physical Therapy locations
JOB TITLE: Staff Physical Therapist Reports to : Clinic Director
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO :
• Provides physical therapy evaluation and treatments as appropriate.
• Communicates with manager and other health care interdisciplinary team members regarding patient progress, problems or plans.
• Records evaluations, treatment notes, progress notes, and discharge summaries timely and completely.
• Maintain patient records confidentially.
• Records treatment charges daily and completes charge tickets in accurate and timely manner.
• Supervises Physical Therapy Assistants/Aides in direct patient care and related activities as requested.
• Complies with the South Carolina State Physical Therapy Act.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Must be able to recognize and respond appropriately to urgent/emergent situations per protocols.
• Maintain work area, exam rooms and supplies.
• Maintain professional appearance and personal conduct at all times.
• Follows all of South Carolina Sports Medicine policies and procedures.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, staff and management.
• Keep regular clinic hours as approved by Rehab Director.
• Attends meetings as requested.
• Perform other duties as assigned
