POSITION SUMMARY
Prescient’s Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) practice helps enterprise, law firm, financial services, and private clients manage their cyber risk and uncover critical intelligence from the open, deep, and dark web using state-of-the-art technology.
Prescient is seeking a Senior Associate to join our CTI Team to leverage proprietary investigative tools, industry-leading monitoring technology, and a proprietary database of breached data to provide actionable intelligence and investigative insights in support of Prescient’s breach litigation support services and other discreet Dark Web intelligence matters.
Final title decisions will be made based on years of experience and candidate expertise.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Senior Associates are responsible for:
• Conducting in-depth Dark Web and OSINT-focused investigations and assessments for corporate, law firm, and private clients.
• Monitoring the Deep and Dark Web using a variety of in-house and third-party tools.
• Producing both in-depth and summary/trend reports on findings that can be read by clients regardless of their level of technical expertise.
• Assisting with online threat attribution and other OSINT-focused investigations.
• Editing and ensuring quality control of a variety of written reports and deliverables produced by junior team members in a fast-paced environment.
• Assisting in the development and discovery of new OSINT and Dark Web-focused research methodologies and tools.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• 2-5 years of relevant public or private sector experience.
• Experience with OSINT-focused investigations.
• Experience navigating Dark Web sources and using Dark Web collection tools to uncover actionable intelligence.
• Understanding of cyber concepts needed to accurately provide context for findings.
• Excellent writing, research, and analytical skills and a strong attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills and an ability to manage multiple projects at once with limited supervision.
• Experience editing the work of others and providing mentorship to junior team members.

PREFERABLE ADDITIONAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
• Experience operating undercover on social media platforms, Dark Web markets, forums, and messaging platforms.
• Experience with breach data analysis.
• Experience using Maltego and Python for data collection and analysis.
