Physical Therapist
Promotes and maintains health by providing physical therapeutic and rehabilitative services.
Physical Therapist Job Duties:
Assess patient health by obtaining and reviewing medical histories, performing physical examinations and evaluations, performing therapies and modalitiesIdentifying acute and /or chronic musculo-skeletal or neurological issues that must be addressed; recommending options and providing continuity of care by developing and implementing patient treatment plans, courses of action, implementing physician directiveOverseeing and instructing Physical Therapy Assistants in the execution of patient treatment plansDocument patient care services by dictating notes; charting diagnoses and fees in patient chart for department records and billing purposesPerforms therapeutic modalities and manipulationsMaintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulationsProtect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols; Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirementsMaintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societiesDevelops health care team staff by providing information, educational opportunities, and participation in experiential growth opportunities.
Hours of Operation: (Flexible Schedule) Mon-Thurs 9:00am- 1:00pm & 2:00pm -6:00pm. Friday 9:00am - 1:00pm No WeekendsLocal candidates only!Ideal candidate will have the following qualities: * Dependable * Patient Care Focused*.
