PragmatIC is looking for an enthusiastic LabVIEW engineer to join our expanding team working in testing and evaluation. The successful candidate will be excited about working within a ground-breaking technology and using LabVIEW and electronics knowledge to develop and refine our testing processes. Key tasks:Developing new software for control of semiconductor test systemsMaintaining and improving existing LabVIEW software projectsCommunicating with technicians and engineers to best leverage software solutionsMaintaining documentationTesting of PragmatIC’s devicesPromote best practice for LabVIEW software developmentQualifications and training:Degree or equivalent experience in a related science or engineering disciplineNI certified LabVIEW developer (an advantage)Other software qualifications (an advantage)Skills and experience:Previous experience of controlling equipment using LabVIEWDemonstrable use of other software languages (an advantage)Knowledge of version control systemsPrevious experience of git (an advantage)Previous experience of SQL databasesExperience of fault finding, debugging and failure analysis (equipment and circuits)Demonstrable experience working with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, parameter analysers, source metersDemonstrable experience working with lab equipment such as VNA, Probe stations (an advantage)Ability to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to communicate and disseminate information effectively to technical non-specialistsAbility to work to tight deadlines and progress multiple projects in parallel
