Builds PCB and system-level prototype unitsWorks from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functionsPerforms operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipmentAssists in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctionsAssists in the design, construction, test and check-out of PCBs and cable assembliesUses manufacturing, test, development or diagnostic equipment, including, but not limited to, test programs oscilloscopes, signal generators and specialized test apparatus Associates degree in a technical field and three (3) years of experience testing, troubleshooting and repairing electro-mechanical systemsProficient in soldering through-hole and SMT PCB components This person will support engineering activities such as design, test, check-out, modification, fabrication and assembly of prototype electro-mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry or specialized equipment.
