The Role
Saturdays - 9:00am – 1:00pm to start with a view to increase daysEstablished patient list from day oneFully private practiceModern clinical environment with advanced dental technologyFull support from an experienced nursing and administrative teamYou must be a GDC-registered Dental Hygienist with a passion for delivering high-quality preventative and periodontal care.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver a full range of dental hygiene treatments, including scaling, polishing, and non-surgical periodontal therapyAssess patients’ oral health and identify signs of periodontal diseaseProvide preventative treatments and oral health adviceEducate and motivate patients to maintain excellent oral hygieneMaintain accurate clinical records and treatment notesAdhere to all infection prevention and control protocolsWork collaboratively with specialists, dentists, and the wider practice teamDeliver an exceptional patient experience through clear communication and compassionate careParticipate in continuing professional development and maintain up-to-date clinical knowledgeEssential Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Dental HygieneCurrent General Dental Council (GDC) registrationValid DBS/PVG clearancePrevious experience working as a Dental HygienistExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organisational and clinical abilitiesCommitment to delivering outstanding patient careConfident using digital clinical systems and technologyDesirable
Experience managing periodontal patientsExperience working within a specialist or referral environmentInterest in patient education and preventative dentistryFamiliarity with digital dentistry and modern clinical technologiesWhy Join Us?
