About this role
The Blending operator is responsible for operating and maintaining equipment within their assigned area while adhering to all Customer, internal & regulatory policies and procedures. All Blenders are expected to follow Blending Supervisor and Lead instructions and work as a team with all team members.
We currently have openings on second shift. The hours will be 4pm – 1:30am Monday through Friday with the occasional Saturday.

Following blend sheet instructionsWeighing and pumping drums into designated tanksConnecting rail cars and metering in components into designated tanksMixing tanksTaking tank and rail car samples to QC lab for approvalCompleting Blend Sheets with complete blend informationComplete daily, weekly, and/or monthly checksKeeping area clean and safeWORKING CONDITIONS
Walking, Standing, Lifting, Climbing, Pulling, Pushing, Sitting, Dirt, Heat, Cold, Fumes, Noise, Vibration, Oil, and Dust. The Blending Area is not climate controlled and requires working outdoors.
Prior chemical mixing or blending experience preferred BUT willing to train!Mathematical skills with understanding of weight and measurement conversionMinimum of a High School Diploma or equivalentConsideration will be given to candidates with no experience who are able to meet working condition criteria, general math aptitude, and have ability to comprehend and learn quickly.
