Primary Function of Position
Essential Job Duties (Manage the complex sales process of da Vinci® Surgical Systems into new hospitals and upgrades into existing hospitals
Build support from surgeons and administration for da Vinci® Surgery. Identify key institutions, generate market awareness, and drive sales of the da Vinci® Surgical System within an assigned sales territoryEffectively manage transition of initial sale and installation to the sales team to drive procedural volume and growthAchieve quarterly sales targetsPartner with the da Vinci® Area Sales Director to develop a sales plan for their local territoryBuild surgical advocacy teams at each hospitalDevelop initial contact and relationship with CEO and senior hospital administratorsOrganize and manage the sales processDevelop knowledge of primary OR proceduresMake business case for system purchaseResolve contractual issues and coordinate system installation upon purchase approvalHandle all communications and administrative follow-up Required Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree requiredMinimum of 5+ years medical device sales required Knowledge of the operating room environment required Proven successful track record in capital medical equipment salesSales leadership experience a plusExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to travel up to 50%, dependent upon account distributionSuccess in introducing new technologies to the market is a plus We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay + commission, benefits and equity. The target pay rate for this position is $350,000.

Compensation will be based primarily on the job level at which the role is filled and the
