You will be providing a variety of non-medical services to help our clients stay independent in their own home, including:
Support with shopping and errandsMeal preparationLight household dutiesCompanionshipAssistance with dressingAdministering medicationAssistance with personal care. Particular qualifications are not required to become a Care Professional with Home Instead as you will receive full training and support from our operations team. However, it may be useful to have some experience of a care setting, such as supporting a family member or voluntary experience.
Successful candidates must:
Have a passion for supporting others and pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service.Be dependable, trustworthy and respectful.Enjoy building trusting relationships and be comfortable in spending time in the company of others.Please note: Due to the nature of this role, some clients may require you to drive them to appointments or they may live in more remote/rural areas, therefore a valid UK driver’s licence and access to your own vehicle is required.
