Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility, and medication remindersPrepare nutritious meals and help with light housekeeping tasksProvide companionship and emotional support to clientsAccompany clients to appointments or on outings when requiredMonitor and report any changes in clients' health or well-being to the care coordinatorMaintain accurate records of care provided and any incidents or concernsCollaborate with other caregivers and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of careRespond promptly and professionally to clients' needs and emergenciesAdhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines Genuine passion for caring for others and making a positive impact on their livesAvailability to work alternative weekends, with flexibility for occasional additional shiftsValid driving licence and access to a reliable vehicleFriendly, patient, and empathetic demeanourPhysical ability to assist clients with mobility and personal care tasksExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenBasic understanding of elderly care and common age-related conditionsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong time management and organisational skillsReliability and punctuality in attending scheduled shiftsWillingness to learn and adapt to clients' individual needs and preferencesResidence within or commutable distance to BA1 and BA2 areas of Bath Here’s what some of our Caregivers have to say about working at Home Instead.
