Job Title: Weekend Carer (On-Call)
Location: Covering postcodes: L11, L12, L13, L14, L24, L25, L26, L27, L28, L32, L33, L34, L35, L36Salary: £125 per day (£250 for the weekend)Hours: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM & 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM (Rotational basis: One weekend on, one weekend off)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Weekend Carer to provide essential support to our clients across designated postcodes. This role operates on a rotational basis, working alternate weekends. You will be the on-call carer responsible for covering absences and holiday leave during weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality personal care and support to clients in their own homes.Assist with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, meal preparation, and medication reminders.Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.Step in to cover absences and holiday leave as required.Follow care plans and ensure the dignity and well-being of clients at all times.Travel between client homes within the designated postcode areas.Maintain accurate records and report any concerns to the care coordinator.Requirements:
Previous experience in a care role is preferred but not essential.A compassionate and patient nature with a strong commitment to client care.Flexibility to respond to last-minute cover needs.Reliable transport and a valid driving license (preferred due to travel requirements).Right to work in the UK.Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) - which we will source.Benefits:
