About this role
We're looking for two compassionate and experienced Live-in Care Professionals to join our team in Bristol, supporting an 80-year-old man in the BS9 area. Our client has left sided weakness following a stroke and an underlying medical condition that mimics Parkinsons, our client also has non epileptic seizures. Our client lives with his wife, who does not require care.
This is a unique and rewarding opportunity to make a real difference by helping our client live comfortably and safely in their own home. This is a live-out care role working Monday to Friday, 8am - 930pm including a 3.5 hour break spread throughout the day
You will live in the Bristol area and be able to travel to the client daily. A car driver is essential with your own car. We do not offer sponsorship.
As a Live In Care Professional, you'll become a trusted presence in the household, providing tailored support and companionship that enhances quality of life. Your responsibilities will include personal care, emotional support, and assisting with daily routines - all delivered with kindness, respect and professionalism.
What we're looking for:
Minimum 2 years of experience in the care sectorExperience with Stroke and Parkinsons is essentialComfortable providing personal care, someone who enjoys getting out and about in the community with our client and is comfortable providing companionshipStrong written and spoken English is essential, you must be patient, calm and be able to respect the privacy of the couple, allowing them time on their own and using initiative to find other tasks to complete around the homeA car driver is essential with your own carSomeone who is reliable, respectful, and enjoys building warm, professional relationshipsIf you're passionate about delivering outstanding care and are ready to take on a role that's as fulfilling as it is vital, we'd love to hear from you.
