We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Professional to join our team in Huntingdon. We are looking to cover evenings, weekends and daytimes shifts. As a Care Professional, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by providing personalized care and support in their homes.
Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility, and medication managementPrepare nutritious meals and help with light housekeeping tasksProvide companionship and emotional support to clientsAccompany clients to medical appointments and social activitiesMonitor and report changes in clients' health or behaviour to supervisorsMaintain accurate and up-to-date care recordsCollaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive careAdhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a clean, safe environment for clientsParticipate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities Genuine passion for supporting others and delivering outstanding careExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to build and maintain professional relationships with clients and their familiesStrong sense of reliability, trustworthiness, and respect for client confidentialityPhysical stamina to assist with mobility and personal care tasksPatience, empathy, and understanding towards clients' diverse needsBasic literacy and numeracy skills for accurate record-keepingFlexibility to work evenings and weekendsValid driver's license and access to a vehicle for client transportationAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative teamPrevious experience in a care setting is desirable but not required.
