You'll be supporting a friendly 92-year-old gentleman living with his partner in a comfortable home in Battersea.
He enjoys companionship, regular walks and maintaining his independence wherever possible. His wife travels abroad from time to time, so you'll become an important part of his support network.
Your Responsibilities
Providing companionship and emotional supportPreparing meals in line with Speech & Language Therapy (SALT) guidanceMedication administrationAssisting with personal care, continence care and oral hygieneEncouraging mobility using a walking frameSupporting gentle daily exercises and walksAccompanying to appointmentsLight housekeepingMonitoring wellbeing and reporting any concernsAbout You
We're looking for someone who:
Has previous live-in or complex home care experienceIs confident supporting clients with neurological conditionsHas excellent spoken and written EnglishIs caring, patient and professionalIs reliable, observant and proactiveWorks well independently while being part of a supportive teamHas a positive attitude and enjoys building meaningful relationshipsStart Date: 1 August 2026
Experience supporting clients with swallowing difficulties (SALT guidance), falls prevention or neurological conditions would be an advantage, although full handover and ongoing support will be provided.
