We are looking for a Weekend Care Professional to join our Home Instead Basildon team.

Clear and reliable weekend availability is essential for this role.
As a Weekend Care Professional, you could support clients with:
Companionship and conversationPersonal careMeal preparationLight household dutiesMedication support, in line with training and care plansSupporting clients with their daily routinesHelping clients maintain their independenceAccompanying clients to appointments, shopping or social activitiesProviding reassurance and emotional supportReporting any changes or concerns to the Home Instead teamMost importantly, you'll take the time to get to know the person you're supporting.
A cup of tea and a chat, helping someone prepare their breakfast, accompanying them on a walk or simply being there when they need someone, these moments can make a huge difference.

No formal care qualifications or previous care experience are required.
Full training and induction will be provided.
We are looking for attitude, values and personality above everything else.
A full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle is desirable due to the community-based nature of the role.
Weekend Availability
This is a weekend-focused position. Applicants must have clear and reliable availability to work Saturdays and Sundays.
We are particularly interested in people looking for regular weekend work who can commit to their agreed availability.
