We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our weekend team in Leigh, United Kingdom. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults by providing personalized, unhurried care in their own homes during weekends.
Provide personal care assistance including mobility support, bathing, and groomingPrepare nutritious meals and beverages to meet individual dietary needs and preferencesMaintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for clientsOffer companionship through conversation, activities, and emotional supportAssist with basic health-related tasks such as medication reminders and monitoring (training provided)Support clients with light housekeeping duties and daily living activitiesDocument care provided by using our secured password protected appTravel between client homes within the Leigh and surrounding area to provide consistent weekend coverageRespond to client needs with patience, empathy, and professionalismFollow individualized care plans and maintain confidentiality at all times Legal authorization to work in the United KingdomValid full driving license with access to reliable personal transportationExcellent English communication skills, both verbal and writtenCompassionate and caring personality with genuine interest in helping othersPhysical capability to assist clients with mobility and personal care tasksStrong reliability and punctuality, particularly for weekend scheduling commitmentsAbility to work independently while following established care protocolsFlexibility to adapt to varying client needs and weekend schedulesWillingness to complete background checks and obtain DBS clearanceBasic understanding of health and safety procedures in home care settingsPrevious care experience preferred but not required - comprehensive training providedCommitment to maintaining professional boundaries and client dignity The Benefits:
