GP Supervisor - Local Care Direct (LCD)

Location: Bradley, Huddersfield Hours: Evenings, weekends, bank holidays and additional winter shifts.

Main duties of the job Key Responsibilities
As GP Supervisor, you will provide senior clinical leadership across urgent primary care services, ensuring safe, effective and responsive patient care. You will oversee clinical demand and capacity, coordinate resources across triage, appointments and home visits, manage clinical risk, and provide expert advice and support to clinicians and operational colleagues. Working closely with Duty Managers and senior clinical leads, you will support patient flow, escalate concerns appropriately, contribute to service improvement, and maintain the highest standards of clinical governance, patient safety and quality of care.

A fully qualified General Practitioner (GP) with active registration. Experience in urgent care or high-demand healthcare settings. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. A proactive, adaptable mindset and a commitment to professional development.
