The University of Notre Dame Operations, Events, and Safety (UOES) division is currently hiring for a full-time Steward in South Dining Hall in our Campus Dining department. The UOES division oversees the University's event management, hospitality, and customer service functions, while also supporting student life, academic initiatives, research activities, and annual milestone celebrations.

This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who takes pride in maintaining an organized, safe, and efficient workspace, and who understands that great events start with great inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:
Load/unload trucks, put away equipment, and store foods and suppliesPull products/equipment and pack for shipment to various eventsOrder, receive, and store food products, supplies, and equipmentRotate stock according to dates received and maintain a safe, sanitary storage areaChecks products and equipment that is received and issued Maintain Storeroom, Coolers, Freezers and Docks Capable of managing time effectively with minimal supervisionPositive, respectful, and committed to the schedule you createExcellent communication and listening skillsAbility to maintain a standing position for extended periods of time (up to 6 hours at a time).Ability to move, lift and handle equipment, supplies and other objects weighing up to 25 pounds.Ability to position self to move items weighing up to 25 pounds from floor to shelves and cabinets above and below counter heightFollow food safety procedures for handling, storing, and serving food products Pay Rate: $17.50/hr
