About this role
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced EHS Manager to lead and oversee all Environment, Health & Safety initiatives within the organization. The role is responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, implementing safety programs, minimizing risks, and fostering a culture of safety across operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and guidelinesEnsure compliance with local, state, and national environmental, health, and safety regulationsConduct risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections to identify hazards and recommend corrective actionsLead incident investigations and ensure proper root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actionsPlan and execute safety training programs and awareness campaigns for employeesMonitor workplace conditions and ensure safe work practices are followed at all timesMaintain EHS documentation, reports, and compliance recordsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS standards into daily operationsManage emergency preparedness programs, including drills and response planningTrack EHS performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiativesLiaise with external regulatory authorities and auditorsEnsure proper waste management, pollution control, and sustainability practicesDrive a strong safety culture across all levels of the organization Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field8–10 years of experience in EHS roles, preferably in manufacturing, construction, or industrial environmentsStrong knowledge of EHS regulations, standards, and compliance requirementsExperience in safety audits, risk assessment, and incident investigationExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong leadership and team management capabilitiesEffective communication and training skillsProficiency in MS Office and EHS management systems Join our social media conversations for more information about Turner & Townsend and our exciting future projects:
