Tieto is looking for an experienced Data Architect to join our Data & Analytics project in the agricultural industry. In this role, you will design and architect data solutions, integrate data from multiple sources, and create scalable datasets supporting analytics and reporting. You will work closely with business and technical stakeholders and contribute to backend development when needed.

Who we are looking for
You have 4+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or similar roles3+ years of experience working with Azure data platform servicesStrong hands-on experience with Azure SQL Database, including schema design, query optimization, and indexingStrong experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), including pipeline design, triggers, linked services, and data flowsExperience with Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS Gen2) and Azure StorageExperience with Azure Logic AppsHands-on experience with Azure Databricks, Spark SQL, PySpark, and Delta LakeStrong knowledge of data modeling, including dimensional modeling and star schemaGood understanding of ETL/ELT design patterns and data warehouse/data lake architectureAdvanced SQL skills, including complex joins, CTEs, query performance tuning, and execution plan analysisExperience with multi-source data integration, APIs, data quality, validation, and error-handling approachesUnderstanding of CI/CD, version control (Git), Infrastructure as Code, and Azure security conceptsStrong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business languageStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to gather and analyze requirements and work effectively in cross-functional teamsEnglish proficiency at Upper-Intermediate level or higher

Good understanding of Power BI and data requirements for dashboardsKnowledge of reporting concepts, metrics, KPIs, and business intelligenceExperience with Azure DevOpsExperience with Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates or other Infrastructure as Code approachesKnowledge of RBAC, Key Vaults, and cloud security/access managementPrevious experience or understanding of the agriculture/agribusiness domainExperience mentoring colleagues and sharing technical knowledgeUnderstanding of Agile methodologies
