Tieto is looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will design, configure, implement, and operate complex network and security solutions, troubleshoot network environments, and ensure their performance, reliability, and security. You will work with LAN, WLAN, WAN, VPN, firewall, and NGFW technologies while supporting customers and on-site engineers.

You will design, configure, implement, and operate complex network and security solutionsTroubleshoot LAN, WLAN, WAN, VPN, firewall, and NGFW environmentsPerform patch management of network solutionsMonitor network performance and capacity and identify opportunities for improvementAnalyze network issues and their impact on customers’ businessSecure network systems by establishing and enforcing policies, standards, and guidelinesMonitor network operational status, gather and prioritize technical information, and provide reportingProvide remote technical support to on-site engineers and end users/customersAnalyze technical requirements and translate them into suitable network solutionsProactively identify and propose improvements to services and solutionsStay up to date with relevant network technologies, services, and products
Who we are looking for
You have 5+ years of experience in network administration5+ years of professional experience maintaining Cisco, Fortinet, or Check Point Next-Generation Firewall environmentsStrong knowledge of L2/L3 networking protocols and technologies, including STP, LACP, L2 security, 802.1X, OSPF, and BGPSolid understanding of TCP/IP stack protocols, including DNS, DHCP, SMTP, SNMP, and ICMPHands-on experience with wireless services, including deployment and troubleshootingGood understanding of VPN solutions and encryption servicesExperience with network monitoring tools and a strong understanding of network protocolsAbility to quickly investigate, diagnose, and resolve complex network problemsBasic understanding of Windows and Linux operating systemsStrong troubleshooting and analytical skillsCustomer-focused mindset and strong communication skillsEnglish proficiency at Upper-Intermediate level or higher

Cisco CCNP Enterprise certificationFortinet NSE 4 certificationCheck Point CCSA certificationExperience with Azure, AWS, or GCP public cloud environmentsAZ-700 certification or equivalentExperience with Meraki cloud deploymentsAutomation skills with Python, Bash scripting, APIs, Ansible, Terraform, or similar technologies
