Visual Merchandiser
Job Description: Assists in the planning, developing, establishing, and maintaining all retail, food, and services Displays signing and merchandise presentation programs at an Exchange installation. Creates a positive environment that drives sales growth and increases customer experience and Exchange brand loyalty.

In addition to US bases in Germany, Italy, England, Turkey, South Korea, and Japan the Exchange operates stores for US troops in Iraq, Afghanistan and other countries in the region. The Exchange ensures Soldiers and Airmen have access to US goods and services, wherever they are.
Job Qualifications: Completion of high school or the equivalent. Experience or training in designing, drawing, and assembling sales promotion merchandise displays, knowledge of computer creative software is preferred. Must have valid motor vehicle operator's license.

Additional Qualifications/Requirements: CANDIDATE MUST BE PROFICIENT IN ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR AND ADOBE PHOTOSHOP, WITH SOCIAL MEDIA EXPERIENCE, INCLUDING CREATING AND MANAGING CONTENT ACROSS MULTIPLE PLATFORMS. STRONG VERBAL AND WRITTEN COMMUNICATION SKILLS ARE REQUIRED, ALONG WITH A KEEN ARTISTIC EYE, ATTENTION TO DETAIL, AND EXCELLENT PROBLEM-SOLVING ABILITIES.
THIS POSITION REQUIRES THE ABILITY TO WORK AT HEIGHTS AND PERFORM PHYSICAL TASKS, INCLUDING CLIMBING LADDERS, LIFTING, BENDING, STOOPING, WALKING, STANDING, PUSHING, AND CARRYING UP TO 50 POUNDS.
MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK MONDAY-FRIDAY 20-34 HOURS PER WEEK, TO INCLUDE SOME NIGHTS AND WEEKENDS MAY BE REQUIRED. WORK MAY BE PERFORMED BOTH INDOOR AND OUTDOOR ENVIRONMENTS AND WILL REQUIRE TRAVEL AS NEEDED.

Major Duties: Provides high level of customer satisfaction through excellent service. Greets each customer upon contact, assesses their needs, suggests alternative options, and provides solution resolution. Keeps their needs foremost and creates a welcoming environment, actively engages, and builds trust relationship with the customer in order to deliver a personalized shopping experience. Provides superior skills to serve the customer, utilizes and adheres to merchandise presentation standards to enhance sales growth by ensuring merchandise is displayed on proper fixtures, develops, assembles, and installs displays using appropriate tools and equipment. Ensures standard signs for the Exchange is maintained and displayed. Maintains supply of retail, food, and services signs and replaces timely and accordingly. Assures compliance with fire, safety, sanitation, and security regulations, as well as ensuring the security of fixed assets, cash, and inventory. Practices loss prevention procedures and alerts security and management of potential problems that may involve fraud, waste, and abuse. Performs other duties as assigned.
