Description: Experience job satisfaction in a high-paying travel opportunity with flexible scheduling as an emergency medicine physician. TeamHealth is seeking ABEM certified or eligible EM physicians interested in flexible travel assignments through our HIT travel team program at Seton Medical Center Harker Heights and Seton Medical Center- FSED in Texas.
Seton Medical Center Harker Heights • TeamHealth-managed emergency department • Level IV Trauma Center • Approximately 48,000 annual ED visits • 17-bed ED plus fast track • EPIC EMR • 10-hour physician shifts • 40 physician hours daily • 40 APC hours daily • Experienced TeamHealth physician and APC team
Seton Medical Center Harker Heights South Campus • Brand-new freestanding emergency department: expected to open February 2027 • Located in the rapidly growing Belton/Salado corridor • Modern facility designed to expand emergency care access throughout the region • Direct transfer pathways to the affiliated hospital when specialty consultation, admission, or higher-acuity care is needed • Single physician coverage • 24-hour shifts • Projected volume of approximately 25 patients per day
Position Snapshot: Travel Physician • 1099 independent contractor • Increased rates to accommodate for travel arrangements • Minimum of 4 shifts/month commitment • ABEM certified or eligible required • Flexible block scheduling available
