About this role
We're looking for a reliable, hardworking Kitchen Porter to join a busy kitchen team in Stoke-on-Trent. The hours are Monday to Friday, daytime only, so you get your evenings and weekends free. This role suits someone who likes being kept busy and wants steady weekday work.
What you'll be doing
Washing pots, pans, crockery, cutlery and kitchen equipment, by hand and by dishwasherKeeping the kitchen, floors and work surfaces clean and tidy throughout the shiftFollowing cleaning schedules and food hygiene standardsTaking in deliveries and putting stock away correctlyEmptying bins and managing waste and recyclingHelping the chefs with basic food prep when needed What we're looking for
Previous kitchen porter or cleaning experience is helpful but not essential, as full training is givenA good work ethic and the ability to work at a quick paceReliable and punctual, with a positive attitudeA team player who can follow instructionsBasic food hygiene knowledge is a bonusIdeally you'll have a full driving licence and your own transport to get to the site What's on offer
