A leading insurance organisation is seeking an experienced BI Developer with strong Sigma Computing expertise to join their data and analytics function on an initial 6-month contract. This is an exciting opportunity to join a business that has invested heavily in a modern cloud data platform, with Snowflake as the enterprise data warehouse and Sigma Computing as the strategic reporting and analytics tool.
We are looking for a highly skilled BI Developer who can leverage data within Snowflake and build intuitive, business-facing dashboards and reporting solutions through Sigma. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to deliver meaningful insights that drive business decision-making.
What You'll Be Doing Designing and developing dashboards, reports, and self-service analytics solutions in Sigma ComputingBuilding and maintaining Sigma Workbooks, Datasets, and visualisationsWorking closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver analytical solutionsCreating KPI reporting and management dashboards across insurance functionsWriting complex SQL queries and working directly with data within SnowflakeSupporting the adoption of self-service BI capabilities across the businessCollaborating with Data Engineering teams to optimise reporting performance and data accessibilityEnsuring reporting solutions are scalable, accurate, and aligned with business requirements What We're Looking For Proven experience as a BI Developer, Business Intelligence Developer, or Analytics DeveloperStrong hands-on experience with Sigma ComputingExperience building dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions using SigmaStrong SQL skillsExperience working with SnowflakeSolid understanding of data modelling and data warehousing conceptsExcellent stakeholder management and requirements-gathering skillsAbility to communicate complex data and insights to non-technical audiences Desirable Experience Specialty InsuranceLloyd's MarketLondon Market InsuranceReinsuranceUnderwritingClaimsFinancial Services The Ideal Candidate This role will suit a BI professional with deep Sigma Computing expertise who can quickly add value within an established Snowflake environment.
