Warehouse Operative – FLT Driver Location: Uckfield, TN22
Salary: £13.39 per hour
Hours: Full-time, approximately 45 hours per week
Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 5:00pm
Overtime: Weekend overtime may be available
About the Role We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver to join our client’s busy warehouse and production operation in Uckfield.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with previous warehouse experience who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team. You will support the day-to-day movement and preparation of stock, working closely with warehouse and production teams to ensure operations run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficientlyLocating and moving specific items around the warehousePreparing stock for production linesWorking closely with production teams and running operativesChecking deliveries and collections for any damaged goods or stockReporting any damages or discrepancies promptlyEnsuring stock is stored and handled correctlyMaintaining a clean, organised and safe working environmentFollowing health and safety procedures at all timesCarrying out manual handling duties as requiredSupporting general warehouse operations as needed Skills & Experience Required Valid Forklift Truck (FLT) licenceMinimum 1 year of previous warehouse experiencePrevious manual handling experienceGood communication skillsAbility to work effectively as part of a teamPositive attitude and strong work ethicAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentReliable and punctualGood attention to detail and a safety-conscious approach Working Hours & Pay £13.39 per hourMonday to Friday, 7:30am – 5:00pmApproximately 45 hours per weekAdditional weekend overtime opportunities may be available If you have warehouse experience, hold a valid FLT licence and are looking for a long-term opportunity, we would be interested in hearing from you.
