Production Assembler / Wiring Technician
Location: Newport
Temp to Perm- 12 weeks
Salary: £12.80 per hour
Shift: Monday to Friday- 7:30am – 4:30pm
We are recruiting for a hands-on Production Assembler to join a friendly and growing team on a Monday to Friday day shift.
This role involves assembling and soldering wiring harnesses for a range of specialist equipment. While soldering forms part of the role, the products are bespoke and varied, making it much easier to learn through practical training than by following a standard job description.
What you'll be doing:
Soldering and assembling wiring harnessesBuilding and testing a variety of product kitsWorking from instructions and training providedMaintaining high levels of quality and attention to detailLearning three different product builds over time What we're looking for:
Good manual dexterity and attention to detailAbility to concentrate for extended periodsSomeone who can pick up new skills and training quicklyA positive attitude and willingness to learnPrevious assembly, soldering or electrical experience would be advantageous What's on offer:
