About this role
We're looking for a Processing Operative to join our team in Newton Abbot, helping to produce high-quality mineral products used in industries around the world.
This is a hands-on role where safety, teamwork and reliability matter. You'll spend much of your shift operating a loading shovel and production equipment, keeping materials moving efficiently through the process while helping us meet production targets safely and effectively.

Operating loading shovel and plant equipment safely and efficientlyRunning shredding, blending and milling processesCarrying out routine equipment checks and inspectionsCompleting pre-start safety checksIdentifying and reporting equipment defectsSupporting basic maintenance activitiesMaintaining high housekeeping standards across the siteWorking closely with production and maintenance colleaguesHelping us achieve production targets without compromising safety or quality
The Shift Pattern:
37.5 hours per weekMonday to Friday onlyRotating weekly shifts:6:00am - 2:00pm2:00pm - 10:00pmNo regular weekend working
Profile
At least 2 years experience of Loading Shovel driving A full UK driving licenceExperience working in an industrial, manufacturing, quarrying or production environmentGood numerical, written and basic IT skillsA strong focus on health and safetyThe ability to work independently and as part of a teamA practical, hands-on approach to problem-solving
