Solution Architect
Why? Growing & Established Global Software Vendor
Location - Remote in UK with occasional travel to Buckinghamshire based office
The client is a global growing FinTech software vendor. They have created powerful and innovative technology platforms. You will work with Sales, Pre-Sales, and Customers to take responsibility for solution, consultation, and estimation of software projects and ensure a smooth handover to service delivery colleagues.
You will bring knowledge of commercial or consumer lending (wholesale finance, asset finance, asset-based lending, or equipment finance) having worked on complex customer implementations. You will use your business and product knowledge to help customers get the most from the technology options as well as tailor the implementation whilst working with multiple colleagues internally.
Solution Architect - Responsibilities
Use Secured Lending knowledge to advise customers on best practicePartner with pre-sales to understand customer requirements, create the solution and implementation packageLead customer discovery workshopsPlay a lead role in complex software implementationsCollaborate with Service Delivery teams to optimise delivery timelines and costsSupport Product and Sales by providing input to product roadmapsSuccessfully engage in and drive to completion multiple initiatives, simultaneously.
Solution Architect - Requirements
3+ years experience as a consultant and/or architect in a software / technology vendorExpert knowledge of secured commercial or consumer lending (focus on equipment and auto finance, or asset based lending or wholesale finance)Expert knowledge of the Originations and Portfolio Management solutionsExperience in a lead role for software solutioning with complex requirementsAbility to gather information from multiple sources, critically evaluate it, reconcile conflicts, and create a general understanding that you then communicate to internal and external parties.Experience leading and facilitating customer workshopsEnjoyment of working in a high-pressure environment while collaborating across teamsAny previous experience with working capital (asset-based lending, factoring) and wholesale finance (floorplan) solutions is beneficialStrong written and verbal English
