Business Studies Teacher
Location: Bushey, Hertfordshire Pay: £160-£240 per day Start: ASAP
Prospero Teaching is recruiting a Business Studies Teacher for a mainstream secondary school with a sixth form in Bushey, near Watford.
The school offers GCSE Business and A-level Business. We're looking for a teacher who can bring the subject to life through practical examples, build pupils' confidence and develop their understanding of business decisions.
Your responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging Business Studies lessons.
Make topics such as enterprise, marketing and finance accessible and relevant.
Assess learning, mark work and provide clear feedback.
Develop pupils' analytical skills and exam technique.
Adapt teaching for different abilities, including pupils with SEND.
Maintain consistent classroom expectations and work closely with department colleagues.
We're looking for:
QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Strong Business Studies subject knowledge.
Knowledge of the GCSE Business curriculum; A-level teaching experience would be an advantage.
Effective classroom management and a clear, engaging teaching style.
Availability to start ASAP.
