KCR Solutions are delighted to be working with this successful company in Newcastle to recruit a Finance Manager as they embark on their next stage of growth. You will be commercially minded and take full ownership of the finance function. Reporting to the MD, your duties will include:
Financial management and reporting figures to the senior management teamResponsible for the management accounts and month end closePreparation and presenting monthly management pack Analysing budget variances and key financial indicators, with clear explanations and actionsDeveloping annual budgets and rolling forecasts with the Managing Director and service leadsIdentifying risks, opportunities and the financial implications of business decisionsAnalysis of performance by service line, office and project, including margins and costsReviewing work in progress and project billing with delivery teams Maintain a rolling cash flow forecast and longer-term cash projections, highlighting funding requirements Responsible for credit control, debtor reporting and overdue invoice follow upManaging purchase and sales ledgers, bank reconciliations and supplier payment schedules Managing monthly payroll and company pension administrationPreparing and coordinating VAT returns, PAYE and other statutory submissions and paymentsCoordinating year end accounts and tax information with the external accountant Supervising any finance administration support You will be a qualified Accountant or be qualified by experience and have experience of working in an SME.
Strong Xero and Excel are essential.
