Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and evolve internal platform capabilities used by engineering teams globally.Develop automation and self-service tooling that improves developer productivity and reduces operational overhead.Enhance CI/CD, observability, and infrastructure platforms to improve reliability and scalability.Build and maintain highly available cloud infrastructure supporting critical business systems.Drive Platform Engineering best practices across software delivery, automation, and infrastructure management.Partner with engineering teams to understand challenges and deliver solutions that improve workflows and efficiency.Improve system resilience, security, and operational excellence across the technology estate.Lead strategic platform initiatives from design through implementation and adoption.Contribute to architectural decisions that shape the long-term direction of the engineering platform.
Key Skills & Experience
Proven experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or Infrastructure Engineer.Strong background building platforms that support large engineering organisations.Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes, Terraform, cloud infrastructure, and modern automation tooling.Strong software engineering mindset with experience writing code to automate and solve infrastructure challenges.Experience designing and operating scalable, production-grade platform services.Deep understanding of CI/CD, observability, infrastructure as code, and cloud-native technologies.Proven ability to work directly with engineering stakeholders and drive adoption of platform solutions.Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence technical direction.Strong ownership mentality, commercial awareness, and passion for continuous improvement.A track record of delivering high-impact technical initiatives within complex environments.
