Our client, Leicester City Council, is seeking a part-time IRO.
Independent Reviewing Officer22.5 hours per week (3 days – flexibility on which days)£45 per hour

The role will involve the following:
It is purely LAC / Pathway reviews.Hybrid working, generally one day a week in the office. Home working is allowed for admin time / virtual reviews; we encourage Wednesday morning as office working to be with the team.22.5hrs / week.The post is for 3 days, flexible as to which days this is. Meetings are a mix of face to face and virtual, with a split of about 60% virtual meeting, and 40% face to face.We aim to do our initial meetings face to face, then consider the preferences of the child / young person.Pay rate £45 umbrella
Requirements of the role:
Qualified Social WorkerFully Social Work England registered3 years post-qualified experience in employment of a local authority (DFE rules)Must have demonstrable knowledge and experience working as an Independent Reviewing officer
