Quantity Surveyor Up to £65,000 Basic + Package
We are delighted to be working with a well-established infrastructure and environmental contractor that is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its expanding commercial team.
This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of a diverse range of projects across civil engineering, highways, environmental improvement, landscaping and infrastructure works. You'll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered efficiently from a commercial perspective, working closely with operational teams, clients and supply chain partners. With a strong project pipeline and continued growth across the UK, this is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused professional looking to develop their career within a supportive and forward-thinking business.
The Role As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the commercial management of multiple projects from contract award through to final account.
Key responsibilities will include:
Managing the financial and contractual performance of a portfolio of infrastructure projectsProducing accurate valuations, applications for payment and commercial reportsMonitoring project costs, budgets, forecasts and profitabilitySupporting project teams with commercial advice and contractual guidanceIdentifying and managing variations, compensation events and change control processesAdministering NEC contracts and ensuring contractual obligations are metAssessing risk and implementing measures to protect commercial performanceBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and stakeholdersSupporting cash flow by ensuring applications, payments and recoveries are managed effectivelyAssisting with final account negotiations and project close-out activitiesContributing to continuous improvement initiatives across commercial processes and procedures About You To be considered, you will ideally have:
