Quantity Surveyor Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + package Location: Vauxhall, London (office-based, 5 days a week)
The Opportunity We're recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a long-established painting and decorating contractor delivering high-quality finishes across London and the UK. Established for over 50 years, the business has built a reputation for quality, reliability, and long-term client relationships, working alongside major contractors, developers, and end clients across a wide range of sectors.

About the Role — What You'll Be Doing Working from the Vauxhall office, you'll manage the commercial aspects of painting, decorating, specialist coatings, and finishes projects across London and the South East. You will: Manage project costs from tender handover through to final accountPrepare, submit, and negotiate interim valuationsIdentify, price, and agree variationsManage subcontractor procurement, payments, and accountsMonitor project profitability and cost reportingPrepare monthly CVRs and commercial forecastsSupport project teams with contractual and commercial mattersWork closely with clients, site teams, and senior management to maximise project performanceAssist in the negotiation and agreement of final accounts About the Business — Where You'll Be Working You'll be joining a respected specialist contractor focused on painting, decorating, specialist finishes, fire protection coatings, and refurbishment works.
