Senior Paraplanner | Future Adviser Pathway | London | Up to £60,000
Are you an experienced Diploma Qualified Paraplanner looking for a role where you can genuinely influence client outcomes, develop your technical expertise and work towards Chartered status?
I'm working with a boutique Chartered and Independent Financial Planning firm in London that advises a high-quality client base, predominantly professionals within the legal sector. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add an ambitious Paraplanner to their team.
This is far more than a report-writing role. You'll work closely with advisers, contribute to complex client cases, undertake whole-of-market research and have the opportunity to become a key part of the firm's long-term plans.
For someone wanting to continue their professional development, there is a clear progression route to Senior Paraplanner or, upon achieving Chartered status, a future move into a Financial Planner role.
What you'll be doing:
Technical research and financial planning analysis
Preparing suitability reports and recommendations across pensions, investments and protection
Cashflow forecasting and complex calculations
Supporting advisers with bespoke client solutions
Building strong relationships with advisers and clients
Participating in central research projects and wider business initiatives
Mentoring and supporting junior members of the team
Contributing to investment and planning discussions
What they're looking for:
Diploma qualified (Level 4)
Minimum 2 years' paraplanning experience within an IFA environment
Experience across pensions, investments and protection, with exposure to trust and estate planning beneficial
Strong report writing and whole-of-market research skills
Experience using tools such as Voyant, FE Analytics, CashCalc or Xplan
Ambition to progress towards Chartered status
A proactive individual who enjoys taking ownership and making an impact
