The role is a fantastic opportunity for a Management Accountant who is studying and looking to progress or would equally suit an experience Senior Management Accountant who can step into a Finance Manager position

Manage day-to-day accounting processes across multiple entitiesMaintain accurate financial records and ensure trial balances are up to datePrepare balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepanciesAssist with the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reportsAnalyse financial results, investigate variances and highlight key findingsSupport budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reportingEnsure sales and purchase ledgers are accurate and up to dateMonitor outstanding debts and flag potential payment issuesSupport month-end and year-end close processesAssist with annual audits and provide supporting financial documentationLiaise with other departments to gather and validate financial informationContribute to improving financial controls and support ad-hoc finance tasks Person Specification
CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified or studying towards becoming qualifiedExperience working as a Management Accountant or Finance Manager within a fast-paced SMEStrong IT skills including advanced MS Excel skills and accounting software experienceExperience within the engineering or a similar sector would be preferable
