The Opportunity
Reed Practice have been enlisted to find an Accountant to join an excellent client as an Accounts Manager. The firm is a growing, innovative, modern, independent practice, where you’ll manage your own portfolio, build strong client relationships, and undertake more advisory, planning and business strategy—not just compliance.
You’ll be a mentor to more junior team members and can have your voice and opinions heard, such as improving an existing process, from day one.
As Senior Accountant, you will:
Manage a varied client portfolio (accounts + tax).Providing tax planning & business advisory support.Acting as primary client contact for the firm (including HMRC liaison).Supporting juniors & contributing to team developmentReviewing the work produced by junior team members.Working on forecasts, cashflows & management accounts. The firm seeks an experienced Accountant looking for progression who is:
Part-qualified AAT/ACCA – at least. We are open to those who are “qualified by experience” with all the relevant technical experience.Experience as an Accountant in a practice firm working to UK regulations - essential Strong knowledge of FRS102A/FRS105, Corp Tax, VAT & Income TaxConfident handling technical queries end-to-endKnowledge of payroll processes would be an extreme advantage (for reviewing purposes only) What’s On Offer
