Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Machine Operator on behalf of our client based in Witham, on a temporary to permanent basis.
We are looking for an experienced Machine Operator to join a busy production environment. Previous machine operating experience is essential, although this does not need to have been gained within the food industry.
Roles & Responsibilities
Operating and monitoring production machineryMonitoring machine performance and reporting any issuesChecking weight accuracy throughout productionChecking sealing films and ensuring products are correctly sealedChecking date codes and product informationMaintaining a clean and organised working areaFollowing production procedures and company standardsAdhering to strict HACCP and food safety standardsWorking closely with the wider production team to maintain smooth production Experience
Previous machine operating experience is essentialExperience within food production is beneficial but not essentialGood attention to detailAbility to work in a fast-paced production environmentReliable and able to work as part of a teamGood understanding of health, safety and hygiene procedures Hours
Two shift patterns available:
6:00am – 3:00pm3:00pm – Midnight Monday to Friday
