Financia Accountant (Temporary - Immediate Start)
We're recruiting for a short-term temporary assignment with a well-established SME business. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional who is available immediately and can quickly get up to speed quickly and help out in all areas of accounts,
Key responsibilities include:
Bank reconciliationsCredit control and debtor managementPosting customer receiptsProcessing supplier invoices and creditsSupplier payment preparationControl account reconciliationsCustomer statements and credit notesAssisting with VAT returns and month-end activitiesGeneral finance administration and support The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience working within a UK finance or accounting functionExperience within an SME environmentStrong transactional finance skills across sales and purchase ledgerGood attention to detail and ability to work independentlyExperience using accounting software such as Sage would be advantageousAvailability to start immediatelyFull right to work in the UK Contract: Short-term temporary assignment (approximately 1-2 weeks initially) Location: Manchester M12 - onsite Rate: £24-28 per hour
