Programme Finance Lead Location: Warwick - Hybrid working arrangement 3 days on site Pay Rate: £450 per day via umbrella (inside IR35) Contract Length: Initial 6-Month Contract (Possible Extension)
We're recruiting for a Programme Finance Lead to support a large programme portfolio within a complex project environment.
Working closely with Project Managers, Finance Business Partners and Investment Accountants, you'll be responsible for forecasting, budgeting, financial reporting and financial governance, while providing challenge and support to key stakeholders.
This role would suit someone with strong programme or project finance experience who is comfortable working with senior stakeholders, challenging assumptions and driving improvements to financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
Manage forecasting and budgeting activities across programme portfoliosProduce and review financial reporting packs and commentaryAnalyse spend, trends and variancesChallenge financial assumptions and project forecastsPartner with Project Managers and senior stakeholdersSupport programme governance and financial controlsPresent financial information to non-finance audiencesIdentify opportunities to improve processes and reportingSupport quarterly planning and forecasting cycles Experience Required
Finance Business Partnering, Project Finance or Programme Finance experienceStrong budgeting, forecasting and reporting capabilityExperience supporting projects, programmes or investment portfoliosExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsAdvanced Excel skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilityAbility to work independently and proactively challenge where appropriate Desirable
