Furniture Repair Technician
Location: Golborne, Warrington
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts (0700-1530)

Do you have experience repairing, assembling or refurbishing furniture? Perhaps you've worked in upholstery, furniture manufacturing, joinery or a similar hands-on role?
Hoot Recruit is working with a growing and successful business in Golborne that's looking for a Furniture Repair Technician to join its refurbishment team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in doing a good job and gets satisfaction from bringing damaged or worn furniture back to life.
You'll be working with a wide variety of furniture, from sofas and upholstered items to wardrobes, tables, beds and flat-pack furniture.
What will you be doing?
Inspecting furniture to identify damage, defects or missing parts.Repairing and refurbishing wooden, upholstered and flat-pack furniture.Carrying out repairs to frames, joints, surfaces and upholstery.Using hand and power tools to complete repairs and restoration work.Sanding, refinishing, assembling and restoring furniture to a high standard.Checking the quality of completed work before items are prepared for resale.Recording basic product information and preparing finished items for delivery.Working alongside a friendly team in a busy refurbishment environment. Ideally, you'll have:
Confidence using hand and power tools.A good eye for detail and pride in your workmanship.A practical, problem-solving approach.The ability to work independently and as part of a team.A positive attitude and willingness to learn new repair techniques. What's on offer?
