We are working with a well-established multidisciplinary consultancy in Central London who are looking to appoint a Principal Geotechnical Engineer to join their growing team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is technically strong, commercially aware and looking to take on greater responsibility across projects, clients and the wider team.
The role:
Managing and delivering a range of geotechnical projects from investigation through to designProviding technical input and advice across a variety of building and infrastructure projectsUndertaking and reviewing geotechnical analysis and designPreparing technical reports, specifications and fee proposalsLiaising with clients, contractors and other consultantsManaging project budgets, programmes and deliverablesSupporting business development and developing existing client relationshipsMentoring and supporting junior members of the teamTaking a lead role within the geotechnical team, with a clear pathway to Associate About you:
Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Geology or a related disciplineStrong experience within a geotechnical consultancy environmentChartered or working towards ChartershipStrong technical knowledge across ground investigation, foundations and geotechnical designConfident managing projects and communicating with clientsCommercially minded with an interest in developing client relationshipsExperience mentoring or managing junior engineers would be beneficial This is an excellent opportunity for a Principal Geotechnical Engineer who is ready to take the next step, with genuine progression towards Associate and the opportunity to play a key role in the
