A fantastic opportunity for an Architect to join the Residential and community team of a well established multidisciplinary consultancy in Bristol.
The team works across a varied portfolio of residential and community focused projects, including new build, refurbishment and existing buildings. This is a great role for an Architect who enjoys being involved throughout the project lifecycle rather than specialising solely in either design or technical delivery. The consultancy has been operating successfully for over 50 years, with an outstanding reputation for staff retention, many employees have built long term careers, supported by structured mentoring and clear progression routes.
They are looking for someone with a couple of years' post-qualification experience who can bring a good balance of design, technical and project delivery experience, working confidently in Revit and collaborating with clients and multidisciplinary consultant teams.
The Role: Working across projects from concept through to technical delivery and constructionDeveloping design proposals and planning informationProducing coordinated architectural and technical information in RevitPreparing and coordinating Building Regulations submissionsWorking closely with clients, consultants and internal disciplinesCoordinating structural, MEP and other specialist design informationAttending client, design team and site meetingsSupporting projects through construction and responding to technical queriesTaking increasing ownership of projects as your experience develops Requirements: ARB registered Architect with ideally 2+ years PQEStrong all-round experience across different RIBA stagesGood Revit experience preferredConfident design and technical abilityGood knowledge of UK Building RegulationsExperience coordinating consultants and multidisciplinary informationResidential or community-sector experience would be advantageousStrong communication and organisational skills This is an excellent opportunity for an Architect who wants genuine all round project exposure within a supportive and established consultancy.
