Role: Temporary Works Coordinator
Location: Tata Steel, Port Talbot works, Swansea, SA13 2NG
Rate: £21.07-£22.66ph (dependent upon experience)
Contract length: 36 months
Shift Patterns: 36.5 hours per week, Mon-Fri. Timings: Mon-Thu 07:30-15:45 and Fri 07:30-14:45
Start: ASAP, pending the successful completion of a medical, which does include a Drug and Alcohol test
Responsibilities:
Maintaining the Temporary Works Register (TWR)Creating and keeping an up-to-date log of every single temporary works item required across the projectEnsuring a design brief is issued for every temporary structure and that the resulting design is checked Issuing Permit To WorkEnforcing formal procedural controls relating to Permit To Work, Permit To LoadOverseeing Site Execution & InspectionsStop-Work Authority being put in place as required Essential requirements:
Previous experience on a large infrastructure construction site or heavy industry site in a Health and Safety capacityCSCS black card (desirable)NEBOSH Construction Certificate SMSTS or SSSTS qualificationCompletion of temporary works coordinator training Driving Licence and access to own vehicle (due to nature of the works)Good verbal and written communication skillGood level of IT literacyApproachable nature and confidence liaising with stakeholders of all level Benefits:
