5-Axis CNC Miller (Heidenhain), Rugby, Days Only
£37,000 to £39,000 DOE + overtime at time and a third + 5% pension + optional £2,500 leading hand allowance
Forge Engineering Recruitment is working with a well-established precision engineering company in Rugby. They're investing in a brand-new DMU 80 monoBLOCK 5-axis machining centre and need an experienced CNC Miller Machinist to run it on day shift.
You'll play a key part in bringing the new machine into production and transferring existing work across from their current machine.
Hours
Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4.45pm
Friday 7.30am to 12.30pm
What you'll need
• Heidenhain control experience (essential)
• At least 10 years' engineering experience
• Able to read and understand engineering drawings
• Online programming: following, editing and changing programs at the machine
• Excellent communication skills
• DMG, DMU or other 5-axis experience (a big plus)
Leading hand opportunity (optional, +£2,500)
For the right person, the role includes leading the milling section:
• Liaising with the shop floor manager
• Allocating tasks
• Coordinating materials
• Process optimisation
• Troubleshooting
