Exciting opportunity for a high-impact CIMA/ACCA/ACA Financial Controller to join a dynamic manufacturing group based in York with a wider Yorkshire presence.
This is not your typical FC role. It’s fast-paced, hands-on, and deeply embedded in the business. You’ll be partnering directly with the senior leadership team at board level, presenting to the board monthly, and playing a pivotal role in driving performance and strategic decision-making.
Your duties will include:
Full ownership of the day-to-day financials: management accounts, audit liaison and reporting.Leading the finance team - fostering development and accountability.Acting as a true business partner – visible across the business, collaborating with Operations, Sales, and other senior stakeholders.Supporting internal controls, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.Representing the site at board level alongside the Finance Director. Ideally you will be able to demonstrate the experience below:
CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified.Previous experience at Financial Controller/Finance Manager levelProven experience in manufacturing, retail, engineering or FMCG sectors would be advantageous although not essential.Someone who thrives in a high-energy, fast-moving multi-site environment.Strong communicator with a proactive, commercial mindset.
