Preparing architectural drawings, plans, elevations and supporting design documentationAssisting with the preparation of planning applications and associated submissionsSupporting feasibility studies, site appraisals and initial design conceptsProducing accurate drawings and visual materials using relevant CAD and design softwareUndertaking site visits, surveys and measurements where requiredResearching planning policies, site constraints and relevant building regulations Requirements for the role of Architectural Assistant:
A degree or relevant qualification in Architecture, Architectural Technology or a related disciplineExperience working in an architectural practice or a relevant placement, although applications from promising graduates will also be consideredProficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, with knowledge of additional design or visualisation packages an advantageAn understanding of architectural design principles, planning processes and technical drawingStrong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing prioritiesGood written and verbal communication skillsThe confidence to work independently when required, while collaborating effectively with colleaguesA genuine interest in rural architecture, sustainable development and the built environment If this role interests you or if you are interested in searching for other roles relating to Architecture please feel free to contact Ben Moore on or email .
