Position: Plumber Location: Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire Rate: £23.00 per hour Hours: 37 hours per week Duration: 8 weeks intially
Job Overview
We are currently looking for an experienced Plumber to join a maintenance team working across a campus environment in Newcastle-under-Lyme. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of plumbing installations, maintenance, and repair works to ensure facilities remain safe and operational.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out plumbing installations across campus buildings.Diagnose and repair plumbing faults and pipework issues.Install and maintain sanitary ware, taps, toilets, sinks, and associated systems.Complete planned and reactive maintenance tasks.Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with current regulations.Liaise with site staff and report any additional remedial works required.Maintain a clean and safe working environment. Requirements
NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing or equivalent qualification.Previous experience in installation and maintenance plumbing.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.Relevant CSCS card (if required).
