An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Registered Manager or ambitious Deputy Manager to lead a 4-bed children's residential home in Burntwood, Staffordshire.
The home supports children and young people aged 8-17 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced childcare professional who can provide strong leadership, maintain excellent care standards and make a real difference in the lives of young people.
What You'll Be Doing
Managing the day-to-day running of a 4-bed children's residential home.Leading, supporting and developing a residential childcare team.Ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and Children's Homes Quality Standards.Maintaining high standards of safeguarding and child protection.Overseeing care plans, risk assessments and behaviour support.Managing staffing, rotas, budgets and service performance.Working closely with Local Authorities, social workers and other professionals.Preparing for Ofsted inspections and driving continuous improvement.Creating a safe, positive and nurturing environment for children. What We're Looking For
Experience in children's residential care.Registered Manager, Deputy Manager or relevant senior leadership experience.Knowledge of Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce or Residential Childcare.Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification, or willingness to undertake it.Good understanding of Children's Homes Regulations 2015.Strong safeguarding and child protection knowledge.Excellent leadership and team management skills.A genuine commitment to improving outcomes for children and young people.
